Background
Ryan Housekeeper has focused his efforts in the seniors housing industry. He has led over $176 million in real estate closings for two distinctly different companies, in the capacities of a Director of Acquisitions and a Vice President of Acquisitions and Development. His past experience includes the acquisition of existing distressed and stabilized communities, as well as overseeing land development of seniors housing communities.
Ryan Housekeeper most recently identified the buyer for the acquisition of an assisted living facility in Greensboro, Georgia; which closed in September 2011. He is currently providing development services for a proposed 82 unit assisted living and memory care facility in Pearland, Texas. He began his real estate career in 2000, working as a Research Analyst for The Meyers Groups, specializing in tracking residential development and new home sales. In January, 2002, he joined Integra Realty Resources, performing the duties of a Research Associate and then Analyst in the Dallas, Texas and Portland, Oregon offices. Mr. Housekeeper expanded his focus from valuation to acquisition and development services, accepting a Vice President position with Canyon Creek Development. This position involved coordinating the key elements of the purchasing process for over $150 million in seniors housing and multi-family transactions as well as the expansion and development of several other projects. He left Canyon Creek in April of 2007 to join Christopher Place Senior Communities as the Director of Acquisitions, where he identified and led the acquisition of seniors housing properties. Mr. Housekeeper is currently the President of Tranquilium. He also provides valuation services on contract for Principle Valuation. A highly regarded seniors housing valuation and feasibility firm which specializes in HUD services.
